Three best friends unravel when something falls from the sky.
THOMAS was eleven when a black sphere crashed into the field around his family's farm. He held it in his hands as his mother called out for him — pleading to say goodbye before she drove away for the last time. He let the sphere pull him in instead.
Years later, Thomas arrives at a remote cabin with his two best friends, ANDREW and BILLY, for one last weekend before Billy moves across the country. Thomas has come to change Billy's mind. But what Thomas doesn't know is that Andrew has quietly decided to leave with Billy.
Then the sphere falls again. And Thomas becomes convinced it means something. But as he tries to hold the night together, Andrew's secret surfaces. By the time Thomas understands what has been hidden from him, the night has fractured beyond repair.
Alone in the field, Thomas finds himself holding something he can't explain. Facing a choice he's made before.

But more importantly, we are all best friends who love storytelling and want each other to succeed.
